We had a nice quite Easter with TT that consisted of our tradition
of going to brunch at the Lincklaen House after church. Jake is still young
enough that they don’t charge for him and I am sure that if they saw just how
much he ate they would reconsider their policy. Jake enjoyed his Easter basket
but got just as much joy out of showing Nellie all her things.
For Mother’s
Day Erik took us out for dinner at the Mohegan Manor which lived up to the
reputation of the food being amazing. In true Jake style he ordered a sushi
roll, and once again we received a questioned look from the waiter that clearly
depicted his surprise of Jake ordering his own meal and it being a sushi. We
were blessed that Big TT got to come with us.
Nellie is
still a VERY good baby who is described at day care as a delightful. She is now
crawling well and pulling her self up.
She still has fun sitting in one place to play so she is not all over
the place yet. She is one of two girls
in her day care class and the teacher reports that when one of the boys gets in
her space she promptly and sternly lets him know she wants her own space.
Life still
continues to be amazing with Jake and Nellie.
